Picture this: You’re batting 10 and you spend your time enjoying yourself the bar. Quite a lot actually. Then have to go into bat.  Feck, when you’re seeing double that is a lot of fielders to contend with! Ever dream of facing no fielders at all? Your wish is our command! With Extreme Power Play, on your first ball all fielders have to be in the slips behind the stumps!

How does it work? It is quite simple really, £10 buys you a chance to make everyone field in the slips on your first ball. Fielders must be either side of the stumps and behind square. So you’ve got the bowler in front of you and nothing else. Even better still – you can’t be out first ball so if you accidentally knick it and are caught by one of the 9 fielders behind you, you’re still in anyway! How’s that?!

NB once the bowler has bowled the fielders are free to move wherever they want to, so don’t arse about when you’re running.

All proceeds from the event, including merch, food & drink, are donated to Snitterfield Cricket Club to go towards the development of the new SCC pavilion.

Collectively we will raise a few thousand pounds for the club which will go a huge way towards the goal of bringing a first class facility to support sport in the village and surrounding areas.
